Honey girl is sculpted in a dense basaltic stone from an ancient Oahu riverbed. She was inspired by a dark-skinned model at a drawing studio attended by the artist. The stone has been cut to fit into the milo wood base. The texture of the milo contrast nicely with the mirror finish.
