This sculpture is the 2nd in a biblical series. The dragon eye snake with copper tongue and granite eyes is representative of the serpent in the Garden of Eden. The 2 koa hands represent Adam and Eve, while the alabaster apple with jade leaves and copper stem represents the fruit of the tree of knowledge. My view is that Adam and Eve are responsible for making their own choices and have not been suckered by the serpent.
